This notice explains the information processed when you browse the directory, create an account, publish a profile, contact support or use paid promotion.

We may process account and profile details, contact information, content you submit, support messages, reviews, payment and invoice records, security logs, IP address, browser and device data, and your cookie preference. Public profile information is published because the advertiser asks us to display it.
Why we use it
We use information to operate accounts and profiles, publish directory listings, provide requested features, secure the service, prevent abuse, moderate content, process support and reports, administer payments and paid promotion, comply with legal obligations, and improve the service with consented analytics.
Legal grounds
Depending on the activity, processing is necessary to perform the service you request, pursue legitimate interests in security and directory operation, comply with law, or act on your consent. You may withdraw optional analytics consent at any time.
Cookies and analytics
Necessary storage supports sessions, security and requested features. Google Analytics is not loaded before explicit consent. The map_consent_v2 cookie stores only granted or denied for about 180 days. Cookie settings can be reopened from every page footer.
Who receives information
Information is available to authorised personnel and service providers only where needed for hosting, email, security, analytics, support or payment processing. Public profile details are visible to visitors. We do not sell personal information for third-party marketing.
Retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, accounting, disputes and legal obligations. Some records and backups may remain for a limited period after deletion. We apply access controls, secure transport, password hashing and other proportionate safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
MAP Jobs Privacy Notice v1
When you create a MAP Jobs listing or apply, we process the account ID, listing content, application text, contacts you provide, safety events and private messages to operate and protect the job board. Contacts and private messages are encrypted at rest.
MAP Jobs contact visibility
The listing owner chooses whether contacts are visible to everyone, registered users, or only accepted applicants. Public contacts can be copied or indexed by third parties. The selected visibility is shown before publication.
MAP Jobs retention
Contacts are withdrawn when a listing expires. Contacts, applications, private messages, notifications and favourites are scheduled for deletion 90 days later. Security, consent and moderation records may be retained longer where necessary to establish or defend legal claims.
MAP Jobs withdrawal
The listing owner can withdraw all contact access immediately from the MAP Jobs workspace. You may also close a listing and contact support to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection. Advertisers can update profile data in their account. You may change analytics consent through Cookie settings. Requests can be submitted through Contact; we may need to verify identity.
Children and sensitive content
The service is for adults aged 18 or over. Minors must not use the service or provide information. Do not publish another person’s private information without authority. Suspected exploitation of minors or unlawful content must be reported immediately.
International access and changes
The directory is available in several countries and providers may process information from other locations under appropriate safeguards. We may update this notice when the service or law changes; the revision date shown on this page identifies the current version.
